A Place of Prayer, A Person of Peace

We are nearing the middle of January. like you, I want to be a person of peace. The best example of a person of peace is Yeshua. Yeshua was a person of peace! The Bible gives us insight to how He achieved this! While I could site many examples and scripture texts today, I will sight this one in Mark 1:35

Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.

Jesus had a place of prayer and therefore He was a person of peace. One of Jesus’ favorite places was the Garden of Gethsemane. He often retired there to gather strength and wisdom from God. So much so, that as He faced betrayal, torture, and death He could calmly and lovingly say: “Father, forgive them.”

Wow, what an example!

Let me encourage you to daily and moment by moment have that place of payer so, like our Savior, you (and I) can be a person of peace!

Until next time,

David and The RTFM Team!
