We are only a few weeks away from 2022!
As we approach a New Year I pray God’s richest blessings upon you and your family! Just know that RTFM is here to serve you, your family, your friends, your church and/or your organization with the essential principles to live the transformed life!
As you enter into 2022 let us encourage you to look at four (4) areas of your life in order to move in a direction that will keep you safe in the arms of the Savior. These are four principles that will help you seek God’s kingdom first! Are you ready?
The first area is the area of prayer. Prayer is the key in the hand of faith that will look the storehouse of heaven. Prayer is to the Christian and food it the body. Prayer, is that which nourishes our mind body and soul. Our heavenly Father tells us that we are to:
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3
God desires to show us great and mighty things in 2022! It will come to those who invest time in prayer!
The second area is that of Bible Study. Let me encourage you to this year study the Bible deeply. Here is what I mean. Many years ago I began to reading my Bible prayerfully without the “interference” of man. I opened my Bible, reading it for myself from cover to cover, book to book asking God to show me what the Bible really means and how to apply it to my life. As I did that, our Heavenly Father began to reveal to me deep Bible truths that I had never seen in my life. Little by little He helped me to see that past things I had learned were wrong. That was hard to accept at first. However, how could I deny a clear reading of the Bible! How could I reject a clear Spirit led conclusion! It was freeing in the end as I determined to live by His Word by His power of course) and not by human conclusions.
The third area is that of family and relationships! In 2022 my I encourage you to put family first period! Yes, your relationship with God is first of course; but, after that… make family your priority! In 2022 seek to deepen your relationship with God and your family allowing nothing to hinder you from doing this! Nothing!
Finally, seek our Heavenly Father to lead you to where He desires for you to do real ministry for Him.Over the last two years I have gone through a training entitled: “Reaching the World Next Door.” That has led me to know how to really reach my neighbors and friends for Jesus! This is where my family and I are at this point of our lives! God has led us to focus our attention on those that are seeking for and do not know Yahweh! Each week now, we can have up to 25 people in our home as a result of that Spirit led desire.
God has helped us to see that the edification as well as the maturing of the body comes from the following individuals that He places in the church as shared in Ephesians there are: apostles, prophets, evangelists; pastors/teachers (the pastor/teacher according to the Bible is the elder of the church) So these persons and the gifts as described in the Bible must be present and working in order for the Body of Christ to grow spiritually and in number! We must admit that today’s Christianity/Church overall does not operate in this manner.
Let’s seek our Heavenly Father for wisdom on how to engage in the life of His Church they way that He desires for it to operate and function. My prayer is that in 2022 God’s people would seek to do ministry His way! If we do, the church will see maturity and growth that will parallel and exceed that of the early church.
One more thing. Let me also encourage you to research and learn the U.S. Constitution. The founders of our country had a vision, desire and approach for our country and how the church should function that we have lost in so many ways. So much so that government, politics, committees, etc, run the people and people have almost no say in how things should be done and exist for the betterment of society, and the church. At this time in my life I am taking a course on understanding the constitution and becoming a U.S. Constitution coach. I really think it is that important!
