Thank God and Then be a Blessing!

There are blessings in your life and mine that “no eye has seen, nor ear heard” (I Corinthains 2:9)— blessings that are so because life rolls smoothly in their absence. For example, think of the many miles you’ve driven without getting a flat tire. Think of the big tree out front of your home that’s never dropped a damaging limb on your house. Think of temptations that you have overcome by the grace of God . Perhaps you have a cold today or an ache or pain. Hovever, think of a dozen of illness that you do not have or that you never experienced.

Often times these good things go unnoticed, unseen, unheard—but are definite blessings from the Lord.

Today, take a moment to thank God for at least 5 things he has blessed you with. Then, use those blessings to be a blessing to someone else.

If you know someone who is hurting, Intercede for them in prayer. Then ask God to show you how to actively be a blessing in their life.

If you can’t think of someone ask God to remind you of those who do suffer from some of the things He’s spared you from and then lift these people up to Him today. Then, seek a way to be a helping hand in their life.

And each day let us all pray for a grateful and giving heart!

Blessings on your day,
